The service will be free for all until the end of 2016.
From january 2017, you will have to pay for data but voice will remain free.
At the reliance AGM taking place in mumbai, chairman mukesh ambani just announced the launch of the jio network, and its incredibly low jio 4G taiffs.
Free voice call, no roaming charges, and just RS 50 per GB which will go down to RS 25.
Reliance jio will launch for all users on monday september 5, and ambani stated that it will be free for all users until the end of this year decmber 31, 2016.
At the same time the various jio apps and services will be free to use untill december 2017, and voice calls are going to be completely free.
